About Tibo

“I am the founder of Taplio and Tweet Hunter – two tools that help creators grow their personal brands on Twitter and LinkedIn. The tools assist users in discovering viral content, scheduling posts, generating AI-driven tweets, and managing their relationships. We currently have thousands of creators using the tools.
In January we sold Taplio and Tweet Hunter to a company called Lemlist for 8 figures. A few weeks ago we hit the $3M ARR mark, so it looks like the acquisition made us grow faster!
(Tibo also won Maker of the Year from Product Hunt in 2022.)”

What do your days look like?

“Most of my days consist of:
  • Reading user feedback to identify areas of improvement
  • Coding new features or improvements based on user insights
  • Talking with the team (this is kind of new as the team recently grew)
  • Sharing on Twitter and Linkedin the cool stuff we built”

Walk us through your physical work setup.

“My MacBook Pro is the primary work device I use for all sorts of tasks, from coding to communication.
And that’s it 🤣
I don’t have any fancy things as I’m nomading a lot. My wife and I quit our jobs in January 2020 to travel the world. Worst timing ever with Covid.
18 months later, we eventually left. We spent 6 months in Thailand, went back to France for 6 months and then spent 6 months in Bali.
I just work on the dining table 😅”

What are your favorite digital tools that you use?

  • “Visual Studio Code (VSCode): My go-to code editor for developing features and improvements
  • Screen Studio: A screen recording tool for capturing demos or tutorials
  • ChatGPT: I am forcing myself to use as I think it’s the future”

What regular habits are important in your life?

  • Morning writing: I start each day by writing down my thoughts, ideas, and priorities to kick off a productive day
  • Quick development cycles: I aim to code efficiently and ship new features or improvements as soon as they're ready, embracing a lean and agile mindset
  • Deep work: At least 2 batches of 2-3 hours working sessions without any distractions”
