Things are moving fast here at Reflect!
Last week we shared that we were working on getting Reflect added to Apple’s App Store. I’m happy to say that it’s already live!
We’ve also shipped some updates to our OpenAI integration, to audio-transcription, and to international keyboard shortcuts. Read on for more.
📱Live in the App Store
Reflect’s iPhone app has been out of beta for quite a while, but has remained in Testflight (Apple’s developer platform)... until today.
The reason it's taken us so long to switch is that Testflight has some advantages. For example, a quicker update iteration cycle. However, we've run into the user limit with Testflight–it's time to take the training wheels off.
The app is functionally the same as the Testflight app, but we recommend uninstalling the old app and downloading the new one from the App Store. This is where future updates will be made.
You can download Reflect from the App Store here.
A brief ask – while you’re there, please take a second and leave us a review. It’ll really help us out 🫶
🏎️💨 GPT-4 Turbo added
We’ve updated all of the AI models in Reflect to now use GPT-4 Turbo.
This means that our AI assistant and AI chat features are now more capable, and have an updated knowledge cutoff of December 2023 (instead of April 2023).
The update is already live, so head into Reflect to take it for a spin!
🛠️ Other updates and fixes
- Re-enable macOS level audio recording (i.e. transcribe Zoom meetings)
- Fix backlink picker highlighting for note aliases
- Improve case-sensitive alias matching
- Fix backlink matching for emojis
- Do not auto-create tags from pastes
- Localize non-US keyboard shortcuts
We’ll continue to keep you updated as the team keeps chugging away. Lots of fun things in the works!
Thanks,
Alex and the Reflect team
